Let it Rain, Let it Pour!

It rained all day. Because of Hurricane Milton, 5 extra firefighters stayed on duty at the Melrose Fire Station, making a total of 7 firefighters. Thankfully, there were little emergencies in our area, so it was a quiet, rainy day. Even though it was a quiet day, there were still truck checks and ice to be bagged. 

Because of the extra amount of men, three trucks were in operation today. Ezra and I rode along on the Engine with 3 fire fighters while Papa drove the Brush truck with one other fire fighter. 

During our "down time" fire fighters cooked, slept, and played College Football video games as well as just fellowshipping. Ezra and I were able to get FLVS, College, and Government/U.S. History done as well.
