American Heritage Girls Promotion

American Heritage Girls Welcomes New Members!

My name is Abigail Cook, a high school level American Heritage Girl, and I have enjoyed participating in AHG for several years. AHG has given me the opportunity to experience rock climbing, canoeing, camping, volunteer locally, practice leadership skills, and most importantly, develop my spiritual relationship with Christ Jesus. Please consider exploring this opportunity here in our Lake Region.

What is American Heritage Girls?

Founded in 1995, parents wanted American Heritage Girls (AHG) to be a faith-based, scout-type of program for their daughters to participate in. This program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family community and country.

Why should I join?
American Heritage girls is a fun place for all girls to experience belonging, learn skills about

God, build lasting friendships, and learn important life skills.

The Program:

AHG offers a program designed specifically to the developmental stages of girls aged 5 to 18, the ages divided into 5 levels:

Pathfinder (Ages 5-6): This level introduces the youngest girls to the AHG experience, teaching them to grow in knowledge and truth through fun activities.

Tenderheart (Ages 6-9): Exploration of the world through badges focusing on certain topics and lessons emphasizes teamwork and building confidence.

Explorers (Ages 9-12): The Badges that the girls can earn increase in their challenge providing Explorers the opportunity to learn important life skills as well as develop their friendships.

Pioneers (Ages 12-14): Pioneers have the opportunity to find out their identity in Christ. At this level, girls are encouraged to advance their Christian leadership skills and learn more about who God is.
